Minutes 1979-05-14 178 CITY COUNCIL, ADJOURNED MEETING ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA MAY 14, 1979 PAGE Z and an addition to the requirements. After considerable discussion and review, the fol- lowing actions were taken by the Council: (1) On the motion of Council Member Pope; seconded by Council Member de Leon, and on the following roll call vote, Octo wit: AYES: NOES: ABSEtH: Council Members Gallagher, de Leon, Pope and Mayor Millis. aouncil Member Smith. None. '1 ~ : Public Works Department's Requirement No. B-3, James Way, as outlined in the memorandum from the Subdivision Review Board to the 'Planning Commission, Re. Subdivision Review, Tentat'ive Tract No. 761 a Subdivision of Lot 'z, Parcel Map 77-103, Rancho Grande, dated April 11, 1979, was deleted. ' COUNCIL MEMBER GALLAGHER LEFT AND IS NOW ABSENT. ~ (Z) I t was moved by Counc i 1 t1ember Pope; 'seconded by Counei I Member de Leon and unan i- mously carried, to amend Planning' Dept, It'em 'A-7 to read as follows: "Architectural review and approval shall be required for all developments within the tract, and shall be noted on final tract map." (3) I t was moved by Counc i 1 'Member Pope, seconded by Counei I Member de Leon and unan i- mously carried to approve the following: that Pub 1 i c Works Department requ i rements No. A-I through E, and add an .Hem to be labeled F, requiring the City Attorney's final approval of CC & R's, excepting Public Works Items No. A-3 and B-Za and B-Zb. The excepted items are to be re- solved by staff and Rancho Grande representatives and brought back to the Coun- cil at their next meeting; staff and Rancho Grande representatives were further directed to take into consideration Engineer Karp's suggestion for a secondary access road to serve the 77 lots of Tract No. 761, since James Way is not to be constructed with this phase. ADJOURNMENT It was moved by Council Member Smith, seconded by Council Member de Leon and unani- mously carried, that the meeting be adjourned at 10:ZO P.M., to 7:00 P.M. on May 15, 1979, at the Arroyo Grande Fire Station to consider fire station relocation sites. The City Council met in regular adjourned meeting with Mayor Mark Millis presiding. The following Counci 1 Members were in attendance: Matt-Gallagher, Gabe de Leon, Hugh Pope, and B'Ann Smith. REVIEW FIRE STATION RELOCATION SITES Mayor Mi 11 is called the meeting to order and asked the Cify Administrator 'to review the status on the fire station relocation for the Council and the fire fighters. There was general discussion on the Traffic Way location. The Council asked for comments by the volunteers as to their consideration of a site. After a great deal of discussion, it was the general consensus that the Traffic Way Site was the most agreeable to the majority of the Volunteer Fire Fighters. After Council discussion on the matter, it was moved by Council Member Smith, seconded by Council Member de Leon and unanimously carried, ,that the City Administrator be instruc- ted to start appraisal on the Traffic Way Site. I t was moved by Counc i 1 Member Sm i th and seconded by Counc;r Member de Leon that the City Administrator be instructed to stop proceedings on the purchase of fhe Halcyon site; after a great deal of discussion and on the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: Coun- ci 1 Members de Leon, Smifh and Mayor Mi f1 is; NOES: Counci 1 Members Pope a'nd Gallagher; ABSENT: 'None; the foregoing motion was carried. ~
