ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA
APRIL 6, 1981
The City Couricil met in regular adjourned. meeting with.~ayor.pope presiding.
Upon roll call, Council Members B'Ann Smith, Karl A. Hogan, and Mark M. Millis
reported pre~ent. Council Member Lawrence E. Vandeveer was absent.
SPECIAL MEETING FOR THE. PURPOSE OF APPOINTING A CITY ADMINISTRATOR '.
Mayor Pope ~tated ~he purpose of the meeting and thereafter Council
adjourned 'to ,executive session. Council readjourned from executive session
at 7:43 P.M. 'and Mayor Pope announced that it was unanimously balloted
to appoint Mr. William Sheldon, Jr. as City Administrator. He will assume
the duties of City Administrator, on Monday, May 4, 1981. Mr. Sheldon
stated he is."ery happy with the decision and is excited,.about living in
Arroyo Grand,;.
ADJOURNMENT
On motion of Council Member,Hogan, seconded by Council'Member Millis,
it was unani~ously voted to adjourn at 7:50 P.M.
