RESOLUTION NO. 3187
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
I CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE TO EST A8USH AN
ANNUAL LEA VE PROGRAM FOR MANAGEMENT
AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Title 2, Chapter 3 of the City of Arroyo Grande Municipal Code does
establish the personnel system for the City of Arroyo Grande; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the City of Arroyo Grande Personnel
Regulations as the personnel rules, procedures, and regulatioos for the City of Arroyo
Grande; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City of Arroyo
Grande and its management and confidential employees to establish an Annual Leave
Program for said employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Arroyo Grande Personnel
Regulations shall, effective the pay period beginning December 27, 1996, be amended
as provided in Exhibit A to establish an Annual Leave Program for management and
confidential employees; and shall be implemented as follows:
. Conversion of current vacation and sick leave to annual leave for
management and confidential employees, shall be as delineated in
Exhibit A; and
. Any management and confidential employee who, upon conversion of
vacation and sick leave to annual leave, has accumulated over 6511
hours may convert that time over 650 hours to saJary, provided such
conversion is completed prior to February 7, 1997, or the affected
employee may maintain that balance over 650 hours and the employee
will not accumulate any additional annual leave time until the balance
falls below 650 hours.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall supersede Resolution No. 3105
as it relates to vacation, sick leave and administrative leave for management and
confidential employees.
