A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING TIlE SUBMlTIAL
OF A LOAN APPLICATION, TIlE EXECUTION OF A
STANDARD AGREEMENT AND ANY AMENDl\1ENTS
THERETO, AND ANY RELATED DOCUMENTS.

DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COl\1l\1UNITY
DEVELOPMENT FO~ BOLSA CIIICA MOBILEHOME
PARK.
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande, (hereinafter referred to as "City") organized
and operated under the Constitution and laws of the State of California, is eligible to receive a
commitment of funds and participate in the "Mobilehome Park Resident Ownership Program
(hereinafter referred to as "MPROP"); and
WHEREAS,. the California Department of Housing and Community Development
(hereinafter referred to as the "Department") is authorized to make loans for the purpose of
financing mobiIehome park conversion costs and to reduce the monthly housing costs for low-
income residents to 3n affordable level; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to obtain from the Department~ commitment of funds for
the purpose of finandng the monthly housing costs for low-income resic~ntg of Bolsa Chica
Mobilehome Park at an affordable level.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Arroyo Grande as a co-
applicant with Bolsa Chica Mobile Estates, Inc. shall submit to the Department an application
for participation in MPROP and request a commitment of funds for a mobilehome park
conversion project located at 950 Huasna Road, Arroyo Grande, California 93420.
BE IT FURTI-IER RESOLVED that jf the application is approved, the City of Arroyo
Grande is hereby authorized to enter into a standard agreement with the Department for the
purposes set forth in the loan ~pplication and approved by the Department. It also may execute
other instruments necessary or required by the Department for participation in MPROP.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Arroyo Grande is further authorized
to request amendments, including Increases in fund commitments up to amounts approved by the
Department and to execute any and all documents required by the Department to evidence and
secure these amendments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Arroyo Grande authorizes the City
Manager to execute in the name of the City of Arroyo Grande the loan application, the standard
agreement, and other documents necessary or required by the Department for participation in
MPROP, and any amendments thereto.
On motion of Council Member Brandy , seconded by Council Member Souza ,
and by the following roll call vote, to wit:
