RESOLUTION NO. 3146
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 1996-97 ANNUAL
BUDGET AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE AMOUNT BUDGETED

WHEREAS, a proposed Annual Budget for the City of Arroyo Grande for the Fiscal Year J
commencing July 1, 1996 and ending June 30, 1997 was submitted to the City Council and is I.
on file in the City Clerk's Office; and
WHEREAS, proceedings for adoption of said Budget have been duly taken; and
WHEREAS, the City Council made certain revisions, corrections, and modifications to said
proposed Budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager will cause the Budget document to be modified to ,reflect the
changes ordered by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Budget, as amended, is adopted as the Annual Budget for the City of Arroyo
Grande for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 1996 and ending June 30, 1997.
SECTION 2. At the close of the Fiscal Year, unexpended appropriations in the Operating
Budget will be carried forward to the next fiscal year as necessary to underwrite the expense of
outstanding purchase commitments. Unexpended appropriations for authorized but uncompleted
projects as approved by the City Council may be carried forward to the next succeeding Budget
upon recommendation by the Finance Director and approval of the City Manager.
On motion of Council Member Lady, seconded by Council Member Brandy, and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
A YES: Council Members Lady, Brandy, Fuller, Souza, and Mayor Dougall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
