RESOLUTION NO. 31 43
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR
FUNDING FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MARKETING
STRATEGY AND THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT
,
AGREEMENT FROM THE PLANNING/TECHNICAL
ASSISTANCE ALLOCATION OF THE STATE CDBG
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council of Arroyo Grande has considered an application for funding a
Business Development Marketing Strategy and Execution of a Grant Agreement for a CDBG Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande that:
1. The City Council has reviewed and hereby approves an application for up to
$35,000 for a Business Development Marketing Strategy.
2. The City Council has determined that federal Citizen Participation requirements were
met during the development of this application.
3. The City Council hereby approves the use of City General Funds in the amount of
$5,250 to be used as the City's Cash Match for this project.
4. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to act on the City's behalf in all
matters pertaining to this application
5. If the application is approved, the City Manager is authorized to enter into and sign
the grant agreement and any subsequent amendments with the State of California for
the purposes of this grant.
On motion by Council Member Fuller , seconded by Council Member Lady , and by the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES:Council Members Fuller, Lady, Souza, and Mayor Dougall
NOES:None
ABSENT: Council Member Brandy
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 28th day of May 1996.
