RESOLUTION NO. 3142
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING A TAX PROCEEDS EXPENDITURE
APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996-1997
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE HEREBY RESOL YES that the
Fiscal 1996-1997 expenditure appropriation limit from tax proceeds is $8,934,938, in accordance
with Article xrrill of the California Constitution (prop. 4, SB1352).
THE CITY COUNCIL FURTHER RESOL YES that this year's calculation is to include the
percentage change in California per capita personal income, rather than the percentage change in
the local assessment roll due to the addition of non-residential new construction, as the price
factor.
On motion of Council Member Souza , seconded by Council Member Lady
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Souza, Lady, Brandy, and Mayor Dougal
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Fuller
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 14th day of May, 1996.
