RESOLUTION NO.3132
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE GRANTING A CERTIFICATE OF
PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO
CENTRAL COAST TAXI-CAB SERVICES FOR THE OPERATION
OF A TAXICAB SERVICE WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS CONTINGENT
UPON FULL AND TOTAL COMPLIANCE WITH ALL CONDITIONS AND
REQUIREMENTS OF TITLE 5, CHAPTER 10 "TAXICABS" OF
THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE

WHEREAS, Central Coast Taxi-Cab Services is a Limited Liability
Company owned and operated by Joseph E. Brady and Susan Ladd, who
have applied for a certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity to operate a taxicab service in the City of Arroyo
Grande; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing to consider the taxicab service was
duly noticed and held on April 9, 1996; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the public convenience and
necessity require the proposed taxi service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City council of the City
of Arroyo Grande hereby grants and bestows a certificate of
Public Convenience and Necessity on Central Coast Taxi-Cab
services, contingent upon full and total compliance with all the
conditions and requirements of Title 5, Chapter 10 "Taxicabs" of
the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the conditions and requirements of
the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code are not met by the applicant,
the certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity will not be
issued and this Resolution will not be in force.
On motion of Council Member Fuller , seconded by Council
Member Brandy , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Fuller, Brandy, SQuza, and Mayor Dougall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 9th day of
April, 1996.
