RESOLUTION NO. 3125
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE REQUESTING AUTHORIZATION TO CLOSE CITY STREETS
FOR THE ANNUAL EASTER IN THE VILLAGE

WHEREAS, organizers of the Annual Easter in the Village have
requested closure of a portion of Short street and the Olohan -t.
Alley/City Hall Parking Lot for the Annual Easter in the Village
exhibition on Saturday, March 30, 1996; and
WHEREAS, members of the Easter in the Village will be responsible
for traffic control and cleanup at the event.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. Short Street, from Branch Street to Olohan Alley, and
the Olohan Alley/City Hall Parking Lot shall be closed
from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 1996,
for the purposes of food and vendor booths; and
2. That the Association will adhere to certain
requirements and conditions set forth by the Public
Works, Police, and Fire Departments regarding security
and traffic control and other applicable conditions of
a Temporary Use Permit to be issued by the city.
On motion of Council Member Brandy , seconded by Council
Member Fuller , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Brandy, Fuller, Souza, Lady,_and Mayor Dougall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 12th day of
March , 1996.
