A RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
THE CITY OF GROVER BEACH INTO THE SOUTH SAN
LUIS OBISPO COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT

WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande has reviewed the LAFCO application and \
environmental assessment related to the proposed annexation; and ~
~'::.
WHEREAS, the annexation would enhance the governance of the South San Luis
Obispo Sanitation District; and
WHEREAS, the annexation is mutually acceptable to both the City of Grover Beach
and the South San Luis Obispo County Sanitation DiStriCt; and
WHEREAS, this annexation would be consistent with the sphere of influence of the
City of Grover Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE7 BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, that this Resolution be sent to the LAFCO Executive Director as an
expression of support for the proposed annexation of Grover Beach into the South San
Luis Obispo County Sanitation District
On motion of Council Member Brandy , seconded by
Council Member Fuller . and on the following call vote, to wit:
Ayes: Council Members Brandy, Fuller, Souza, Lady, a~d Mayor Dougall
Noes: None
Absent: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 12th day of March .
