RESOLUTION NO. 3 1 2 1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE HEREBY
AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF A LOAN APPLICATION, THE
EXECUTION OF A STANDARD AGREEMENT AND ANY AMENDMENTS
THERETO, AND ANY RELATED DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO
PARTICIPATE IN THE MOBILE HOME PARK RESIDENT OWNERSHIP
PROGRAM AND SECURE A COMMITMENT OF FUNDS FROM THE
CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT, SUBJECT TO REVIEW AND APPROV AL OF FORM AND
CONTENT OF THE APPLICATION BY THE CITY MANAGER AND
CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande, hereinafter referred to as "CITY"
organized and operated under the Constitution and the Jaws of the State of California, is
eligible to receive a commitment of funds and participate in. the Mobile Home Park
Resident Ownership Program, hereinafter referred to as "MPROP"; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Housing and Community Development,
hereinafter referred to as "DEPARTMENT" is authorized to make loans for the purpose
of financing mobile home park conversion costs and to reduce the monthly housing costs
for low-income residents to an affordable level; and
WHEREAS, CITY wishes to assist in applying for a commitment of funds for the
purpose of financing the monthly housing costs for low-income residents to an affordable
level.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, subject to review and approval
of form and content of the application by the City Manager and City Attorney, the City
of Arroyo Grande, and 80lsa Chica Mobile Estates, Inc., shall submit to the Department
an application for participation in MPROP and request a commitment of funds for a
Mobile home park conversion project located at 950 Huasna Road, Arroyo Grande,
California; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, if the application is approved, the City of
Arroyo Grande is hereby authorized, subject to review and approval by the City Attorney
and City Council, to enter into a standard agreement with the Department for the purposes
set forth in the loan application and approved by the Department. The City also may
execute other instruments necessary or required by the Department for participation in
MPROP; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Arroyo Grande is further
authorized, subject to future review and approval by the City Council, to request
amendments, including increases in fund commitments up to amounts approved by the
Department, and to execute any and all documents required by the Department to evidence
and secure. these amendments; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Arroyo Grande, subject to the
City Attorney and City Manager approval of the form and content of the application,
authorizes the City Manager to execute in the name of the City of Arroyo Grande the loan
application.
On motion of Council Member Fuller , seconded by
Council Member Lady , and on the following call vote, to wit:
Ayes: Council Members Fuller, Lady, Souza, Brandy, and Mayor Dougall

Absent: None
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 27th day of February ,
