RESOLUTION NO. 3098
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR
FUNDING FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MARKETING
STRATEGY AND TilE EXECUTION OF A GRANT
AGREEMENT FROM THE PLA NNING/TECHNI CAL
ASSISTANCE ALLOCA TION OF THE STATE CDBG
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council of Arroyo Grande has considered an application for funding a
Business Development Marketing Strategy and Execution of a Grant Agreement for a CDBG
Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande that:
1. The City Council has reviewed and hereby approves an application for up to
$35,000 for a Business Development Marketing Strategy.
2. The City Council has reviewed the citizen participation plan for compliance with
federal law and has determined that this plan was followed for the development of
this appltcation.
3. The City Council hereby approves the use of City General Funds in the amount of
$5,600 to be used as the City's Cash Match for this project.
4. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to act on the City's behalf in all
matters pertaining to this application
5. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to sign the Grant Agreement and any
subsequent amendments thereto.
On motion by Council MemberLady , seconded by Council MemberS::uza, and by the following roll
call vote, to wit:
A YES: Council Members Lady, Souza, Brandy, Fuller and Mayor Dougall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
